The pedal has broken off and the thread is almost completely worn out and partially broken off with the pedal… Should I just get the whole bracket out? I tried but can’t seem to figure out how to even get the bracket out.
You already got the crank arms off. Use a pulley puller to get the sprocket off the tapered shaft. Then get a bottom bracket tool to unscrew the bottom bracket from the frame. Be careful, one side is reverse-threaded. If you can’t get the tool or it won’t get a decent grip, you can clamp the bottom bracket flange in a vice and rotate the frame around it. The extra leverage makes it easy to break it loose.
Before replacing the old with the new, be sure to clean the threads in the frame. A little anti-seize is appropriate but do not use too much. Also, never lubricate the square tapers or the crank arm. That can lead to over-tightening and a stuck crank.

Crank arm puller. The park tools one is nice.
