Swap for a carbon fiber or 3D printed seat. Lowers weight and may be more comfortable

  2. I have had luck with specialized seats, 10 years later and it’s still fine

With selle italia their foam just deflated after 3 years… and they won’t reply your emails either

  3. Oh shit, somebody must’ve really liked that seat enough to ejaculate on it

I don’t really see any helpful answers here but I struggled a long time to figure out what saddle works best for me and hopefully steer you in the right direction since you gotta buy a new one. Squishy saddles may SEEM like the right move since you don’t wanna be uncomfortable and feeling it have a nice squish when initially sure on it but here’s the counterintuitive thing:  harder saddles are generally better for riding.

If you want padding, you should wear it with bike shorts or bike liners and you can wear regular clothes on top.   For a truly comfy ride you want to have your weight on your sit bones and no pressure. Squishy saddles like this can actually cause MORE friction and cause problems down the line.  That’s not to say that saddles shouldn’t have a little give to them, a lot have foam that cushions or gel-like material but not liquid.

Good saddles cost decent amount of cash but I try to think of it like buying a nice pair of shoes.  If you find a pair you like you’ll wear it out and not think about pain in your feet.  Not really what you’re asking but just offering some advice on your next saddle.  Some saddles I use are from Specialized, WTB, Bontrager and Selle Anatomica.
