Hello,
I'm thinking of buying a new trail/all-rounder bike – good climber with downhill potential that is capable of bike park rides and offers at the same time a high level of touring comfort.
Now I am about to decide between those two bikes – Canyon Neuron CF 9 oder YT Core 3.
- Canyon Neuron CF 9 3.499 € https://www.canyon.com/de-de/mountainbike/trail-bikes/neuron/cf/neuron-cf-9/3172.html
- YT Core 3 3.199 € https://www.yt-industries.com/de/produkte/bikes/izzo/core-3/613/izzo-29-core-3/
Some key factors:
Fork: Neuron(FOX 34 Float Performance Elite FIT4 140mm) – Izzo(RockShox Pike Ultimate 130mm)
Shock: Neuron(FOX Float DPS Performance) – Izzo(RockShox Deluxe Ultimate)
Drivetrain: Neuron(ShimanoXT) – Izzo(SRAM GX EAGLE)
Brakes: Neuron(Shimano DEORE XT M8120) – Izzo(SRAM G2 R)
Wheels: Neuron(DT Swiss XMC1700 Carbon) – Izzo(RANKBROTHERS SYNTHESIS XTC ALLOY I9 1/1 Aluminium)
Weight: Neuron(13.25 kg) – Izzo(13,8kg)
Alternative to Neuron CF 9 is CF 8 2.599 €:

Is it worh to pay 900€ more for the big brother?
About me: height 185 cm, stride length ~88cm, arm length ~64cm, weight ~95kg.
Both bikes seems to be great, and maybe it is a high-level comparison between them, but I have to choose one.
Please share your experiences or thoughts.
Thanks!

So this izzo is a great cross country bike, light and fast but I wouldn’t take it to a bike park. If you want an all-rounder I would recommend the jeffsey. I think it’s a truer “all mountain” bike than the izzo.
