In 2021 I inherited an old Sears 3-speed. I cleaned it up and had it fixed up in a bike shop, but recently a bunch of the spokes on the rear wheel gave out. I think it’s supposed to be cheaper to replace the rear rim than get all the spokes fixed – is that true?
Since it’s an old bike, there’s not many options for rims as far as I can tell. Here’s what I think I know:
* The rim is an ISO 590
* The O.L.D. is about 110 mm, see pictures to let me know if I’m measuring that correctly
* The inner rim width is about 22 mm, also see pictures
