  1. I would focus on getting a nice kick and timing it with the handlebar pump. The right handlebar pump will get you a smooth whip of the frame. Focus on balance and not turning your body during the whip. You want frame to whip a full circle and come back to you.
    Some front brakes will also help get you a sudden stop and pop of the frame.

    You can land on the crank arms, they’re a bigger target to plant your feet than the pedals are and easier to locate

    Slow down the rotation of the whip and look at your pedals when they come around
