This cable came standing up when I was cleaning my bike and now not sure what should be it’s original location? I’m also not too sure where that plastic thingy should be going. Could someone please help? Sorry quite new to bicycles 🙁

The little plastic thingy presses into the bolt hole on top of the derailleur. See step 3 on page 21 of [the manual](https://si.shimano.com/en/pdfs/dm/RAFD001/DM-RAFD001-05-ENG.pdf). Putting the plastic piece back into place will take care of the cable.
