Guy ripped my back tire off, asked him nicely to bring it back and reattached it, but now my brakes are all fucked up. How do I get this bit back on? Model is Giant Escape Rim 3.

Pull the black rubber boot to the right so you can see the little ring at the end of the noodle. Pull the silver noodle to the left and clip the piece in you hand behind the ring on the noodle. You can see the ring in your photo partially obscured by the boot.
