Hey guys pretty standard “ I’m looking into getting a bmx again” post lol. Been searching for a used one for a minute. Found someone selling a used Sunday ex he’s asking about $300 for it. Its complete and all parts are there and looks decent but I’m going have to put it together. My question is, is it worth the headache of putting it together and making sure it’s solid? Or should I keep looking? The bike is just to fuck around on so I don’t need all of the stuff that the ex model offers but since it’s half the price of a new one I figured it’s worth thinking about. Any thoughts? Thanks!

The good thing about a BMX is that it’s painfully easy to put together. Looks like all you’d have to do is put the bars in the stem, hook the brake back up, and bolt the wheels on. Dead simple. Double check everything is tight and go ride.
$300 is half of retail so not bad.
It’s almost built, just need to bolt on the bars and wheels. The cranks are on and those are the hardest to install, chain’s on too so that’s one less annoying thing to fiddle with. It has the Springfield brake which is pretty much the easiest brake to set up. Yeah I wouldn’t bat an eye at having to finish assembling this and I fucking suck at fixing things. I’d still try to knock 59 bucks off the price just cause. Seller is either lazy or doesn’t have the time and would therefore probably accept a lower offer rather than take a couple minutes to turn like 12 bolts to finish the bike
$200 at most. Were in a bike glut and the industry is cutting bikes for cheap all over
