Sorry since I don’t have any input on this bike as infor for this company in general is limited. I have the Ace Track bike and for 300$ I thought it was perfect for me. For me it didn’t creak or make any strange noises and I would say it’s pretty sturdy for the price

Definitely change the saddle because it is uncomfortable

I have the original crew district frameset from when it was launched, still going strong and geo is really nice!

This is my bike! (You can see my profile for proof, I’ve actually got the district AND the other one..)

The district: it’s a decent midrange bicycle. I think I paid like $500? (I got it after being nailed by a car.so insurance covered it. I’m not 100%sure.) it’s got your typical fixed gear bike issues: the seat the tires the pedals are basically junk but that’s to be expected.

The biggest issue I had was the cranks. Those stripped out within miles. Now this was 2017… and I just bought a Crew Defender and have no issues with the crank so maybe they’ve updated/addressed the issue.

I remember it came with double wall sealed bearing hubs (which I’ve replaced since then) and the handlebar was wonky and I got tennis elbow. I’ve sense replaced the bars.

Still I rock this frame/fork to this day and did buy the defender. It’s a decent mid range bicycle.

I kind of wish I’d just gotten the kilo tt but… I can’t complain. For a bike I’ve had (and ridden daily for like nearly 8 years?) it’s quality for sure.

As far as riding: it’s got typical aggressive track frame, super twitchy front end, doesn’t go larger than 25c. 🤷🏽‍♂️ pretty typical. Nothing special/unexpected.
    My 2 cents

I bought just the frame in 2014, anybody know where I could purchase another one? All the links I find are bad or it’s sold out

I would absolutely love to have one in the raw color but they’re never in stock in my size

I bought a used District complete for $200ish. It was nicer than I’d thought it would be. Pretty solid frame

I bought one when they launched District frames, it was pretty heavier than my cinelli frame but has short chain stays, tight geo and thick enough tubings. I love the look and the raw color. That thing can last years and could be purchased cheap frameset alone was about $2-300.
