I saw this frame a few months back and instantly fell in love with the Mondrian homage. I was planning on getting one of my other bikes for its ultegra group but the new Red dropped as I was planning the build. Mounds of CC debt later, here we are.

Putting it together was an absolute pleasure compared to my other bike projects. Nothing needed to be faced and the T47 BB screwed on without a hitch.

The real interesting bit about this bike is the fully integrated Aero bars actually has a removable stem so you can swap out for different stem length without needing a whole new one piece bar/stem combo.

Calipers are Hope RX4 with hope rotors.

Whole build comes in at about 8 kg which is not as light as this bike can go, but very confidence inspiring on steep descents over garbage California B road asphalt.

Of course, I noticed the reserve tags weren’t lined up after the shot and was never able to successfully balance the bike again for a second shot.

  1. Looks incredible

    Timeless design in my eyes

Some of the other modern bikes just look so weird

  2. Gupoochamois69 on

I liked the old blade 795 with the higher seat stays. This looks kind of generic, but still good. Always liked look bikes
