Hello great and benevolent community. As you can see my bike is effed. This occurred yesterday and I am baffled. There is nothing stuck in my chain. What did I do, how do I fix it, how can I avoid this issue in the future?
Try taking your wheel off to see where the problem is

Chain is too tight, and it looks like the tire may be up against the stay. Loosen the axle nuts, reposition the wheel. Tighten the nuts firmly to make sure it holds in position.

Does the wheel spin by hand?

The rear wheel’s hub endcap is locked. Remove your wheel and adjust loosen the endcap. It should do the trick. Otherwise, the bearings in the hub are damage which could have caused the endcap to lock. Replace the bearing, you may also need to replace the endcap.
