Which bike?

– Experienced cyclist getting back into riding after 5 year hiatus, mostly riding used aluminum frame hardtails XC and commuting on a creaky 70s road bike
– This will be the first bike I have ever bought new and cared about fitting properly, cleaning, maintaining, etc.
– For commute in Vancouver (hills are a must), fitness, evening rips on pavement, weekend day trips for trail rides, locking up briefly in trusted locations only, to be stored indoors
– In the future if I upgrade, this bike may be semi-retired as a commuter only role and get decked out with lots of racks, but I’m not anticipating any bike-camping or long road-trips.
– I’m your typical 6ft ish lanky cyclist guy
