NA KOLE Z PORTUGALSKA

Rozhodl jsem se vydat na takový větší bikepacking z Portugalska přes sedm zemí až domů, do Karlových Varů, cesta měla něco přes 3150km a trvalo mi to 28dní. Za tu dobu jsem se snažil něco natáčet, i když to bylo ze začátku docela těžké mluvit do kamery a o drona jsem taky párkrát málem přišel, ted’ už mi to přijde jako sranda, ale bylo to fakt náročný. Jinak cestu jsem měl tak zhruba naplánovanou, ale nakonec jsem vždycky jeden den dopředu našel ubytování a jel jsem. To by asi možná na úvod tak nějak stačilo, at’ už si konečně můžete pustit tento film.

I decided to do a bike packing trip from Portugal Where I spend three months on Erasmus I was having my bike there so I thought of going back to home, to Czech on bike journey was going through seven countries and I wanted to make that it in one month I started near by ocean from Viana do Castelo Hey , I’m on the first stage I’m climbing right now STAGE 1 have something around 3000 m up hill and I’m going over National Park Geres where is a lot of climbings distance is around 160 km and now I’m on 75 km So hopefully I will arrive on time and reasonably I overdo the first stage, and I arrive in the evening arond 10pm When It was cold in the end, and i had almost all my clothes on me and that was just the beginning Hey, STAGE 2 today I’m starting in city Chaves and I’m going to Braganca, it is around 100 km, and climbing 2000 m I’m getting close to the end, and I have last 24 km to go Stage was nice, and I will se tomorrow Hey, so today it is 3 STAGE, i started from Braganca today around 9am and the STAGE 3 have 130 km and 1200 m climbing and now crossing the border of Spain where the time is changing, and now is one o’clock so the time plan is different now but it is so beautiful here right now there is a lot of burn places on the 4. Stage I was going over Spain mountains Siera De La Culebra Where was a lot of burn places, and beautiful nature I had a few small defects on the way, but nothing too bad I was finishing the stage at sunset on the bike path that used to be next to the train track Stage had 160 km, and the ride was good Gradually, as I ride, I changed the landscape on the road was rocks with caves and everywhere some yellow clay I was finishing in the dark to the accommodation where I was alone and I was really hungry so I cooked a lot of pasta for dinner On this stage I was having the biggest defect when I was thinking I can’t never repair that it was Saturday and the nearest city was 30 km I tried to some how provisionally repair that but I must every 10 km blow up my tire but it was left 80km I was finishing in the dark and it was very physically and mentally demanding STAGE 7 was pretty good, I started from climbing spot where I slept on rock climbers hostel I was going to Zaragoza, where I had finally day off I was going I the evening to Sauna, next day I was visiting monuments and then sauna and swimming pool I was living on the best hostel on the trip where was a clear kitchen, and I can cook something there I was going to 155 km to city Leida in next day 9 STAGE to Barcelona was having 165 km but on the first 5km I had a big defect I taped it but I couldn’t blow up it anymore so I tried compresor in nearest car shop and it worked But I had to go faster, because I still had 160 kilometers to go but after was it good Hey, so today I have a day off, I was in Barcelona I visited some monuments like a Sagrada Familia and tomorrow I will go to Girona or Figueras, I will see about accommodation and it was so good in Barcelona Hey, so today I’m going today from Barcelona to Figueras It is around 140 km and 800 m climbing so it not too bad, but now in the end it started rain a lot so it is quite hard, and I had small defect so I stoped on the gas station and blowing some air to my wheel now it is 22km to the end and zdar Next day I visited museum of Salvador Dali in Figueras And after I was going to the city Port La Nuovela It was really windy and the stage was really hard I was going to city Séte on the stage I arrived earlier, so I was going to visit city center I slept on a Hostel with coffee shop and it was super nice breakfast there Hey so today it is 12. stage I’m going from Séte to Nice I stopped on the way in big bike shop Where I get changed my tires because it was both done And I had a lot defects on the rear tire Front tire wasn’t too bad so I changed that for reserve tire And today it is one of the shorter stage and it was rainy but now it’s not too bad And tomorrow I’m going to Marseille zdar Hey so today it is 13 stage, I’m going from city Nimes to Marseille in France And today it is 120 km and 600m climbing It is a little bit windy but it’s not too bad zdar I was starting from Marseille on this stage around 2 o’clock I was going tu Le Luc, and I arrived also in dark STAGE was shorter, but I stoped for better lunch I slept on truck drivers Hostal, and it was fine Hey, so today I’m going from Le Luc to Nice arond 105 km and climbing 600 m and the weather is good today In city Nice I have appointment in company shop Cafe Du Cycliste Which gives me super nice clothes for this journey and I’m looking forward on that and today I have a sauna in my accommodation and that’s it, so zdar STAGE was going from Nice to Finale Ligure, I ride almost on the ocean coast But even so, it was quite uphill around 1500 m climbing, I was going over Monaco where was some grand tour race and I meet some of the popular cyclists, probably after race ride I was going over France and Italy border, and the weather was nice Hey, so today I’m starting in Finale Ligurie to the city Pavia, today it is around 155 km and 1500 m climbing, so it is quite harder today and yesterday I forgot for the shooting on GoPro, but I took some shots on drone and yesterday I was going from Nice where I stoped in the morning in the Cafe Du Cycliste shop which gives with Grava Bike Cafe me super nice clothes for this journey and that was nice to meet them and than I was going to Finale Ligurie where I slept tonight It was 155 km yesterday and 1500 m climbing, so it was quite harder and that’s it, so zdar this STAGE was one of the hardest It was 170 km and climbing 1400 m on the first 40 km I was going to inland to city Pavia Where I slept on the most horrible Hostel where was mold and I must also cooked there next day I was going to lake Lago Di Garda where I slept at first by the app warm showers which is app where the cyclist could support by that like let someone sleep in their home or just reaper the bike so at first I try that on Garda and I slept in Andrews hose Who left my keys in the mailbox because he wasn’t home at the time And I couldn’t even believe that could work like this I stayed there a day later when I took a day off and I went to walk around the neighborhood but it was completely empty everywhere because it wasn’t in tourist season Here I was already preparing breakfast and lunch for the next STAGE Hey, so this morning I’m going to take a little ride on the ferry I’m going to the other side lake Garda To save myself a bit of climbing, but the distance is still the same It should rain a quite today, which I hope it won’t, but now it looks good And today I’m going to the city of Trento and it’s the first alpine stage So I’m curious when I arrived it started rain a lot I slept in Trento in Pascals flat by warmshowers I came from Trento via Bolzano to the city of Brixen Where I took a better hotel with a sauna and a great breakfast I made shorter stages through the Alps Due to the difficulty and possible weather changes hey, so today I’m going from Brixen what is in Italy And I’m going to Innsbruck, it’s already in Austria There is already snow somewhere on the way, so it is sometimes quite dangerous but the weather is really nice and I have 45 km to go so zdar This stage already looked like winter stage I came to Innsbruck via the Brenner, Italian and Austrian border From where it was almost all downhill I also slept in Innsbruck by app warmshowers in Sebastian’s flat It was absolutely great when I arrived, they made me dinner Then we rode into town on their old bikes Where the Christmas markets were and then to some local bar Hey, so today I’m going from Innsbruck it is around 130 km and 900 m climbing now I climbed probably the highest hill on this stage The snow is already flying here and it’s quite cold so that’s it for today I was going from a village near Munich today morning Where I slept in Toe’s hose by app warmshowers When I arrived, I took a shower and we went to the restaurant where he invited me for a burger, at home I cleaned the mud from my bike The next day he made me a really good breakfast and I was going to the city of Regensburg hey, today I hope before the last stage I am going from the German city Regensburg to Czech finally to some village Bor The stage has some 115 km and a 1400 climbing so a bit climbing the weather is changing but now is better And at the beginning of the stage, I had a slight fall where I was looking at the map, but I was fine so hopefully I will arrive alright, so zdar In Regensburg I slept by warm showers in Carol’s flat and then I continued to Czech, to the village of Bor When I didn’t have enough energy in the end Hi, so I’m almost at the end before the last stages the last kilometers is so hard so hopefully I will drive alright 3 km to go My dad was going with me on the last stage and the weather wasn’t so good but it was too close The closer I got home, I was thinking more and more about the journey And suddenly it feels like yesterday when I was leaving But during that journey I experienced probably the most difficult and at the same time the most beautiful moments of my life It was actually really nice, but not for that How long did it take me, or how many kilometers that was But that what I seen, experienced and who I have met I really wanted to give up that many times, but luckily I couldn’t At the beginning, many people told me that is not possible Or let that go for another time, because it’s not a good time But I think, it was probably the best decision I ever made But when I decide to do that, a lot of people also supported me And with that I would like to thank everyone especially to my family and then Grava Bike Cafe and Cafe Du Cycliste which gives me
