Hey,
Me and my wife are planning a bikepacking trip. 360 km in 3 days. I need some advice on the setup. I have very limited experience of bikepacking, thus your advice regarding the setup would help.
Recently i bought:
2 saddlebags (13 L capacity)
Lightweight tent for 2 ppl (weights 2 kg)
Lightweight sleeping bags.

I have some sleeping pads, but they are quite large, but lightweight. Im planning to put them on top of the saddlebags, securing them with some straps.

My current idea is to carry a tent on the handlebars. I don’t have any special handlebar bag or something, so I’m thinking of putting the tent bag to the handlebars by using some straps. My fear is that the tent could rub into the bicycle frame, damaging the paint.

Sleeping bag, some clothes would go to my saddlebag. My wife would carry her sleeping bag and pad in the saddlebag, as well as some bike maintance stuff.
I have a couple of top tube bags, where i will store food, phone, etc.
Do you have some advice regarding the setup?

Well first off good job using what you have! It looks like you need to increase your storage capacity with more bags.A handlebar bag, and frame bag would be awesome. I also recommend a more compact pad. You could get an inflatable one. Where is all of your food going for three days?

If you are worried about frame rub, 3M tape is pretty good for covering the frame and protecting. :-). There are frame tapes put there but they are pretty expensive for what it is
