Traveling through Austria, we decided to stop by the Ossiacher See near Villach as we saw the Lake.bike zone with some cool trails. It was a fun day on the bike, with a nice lake view and unique trail features. Besides biking, we saw the monkey mountain where the Landskorn castle is situated, offering a breathtaking view from the top.

[Music] [Music] traveling through Austria we decided to stop at O A to visit the lake bike trail Zone near the town of fil the transfers are challenging and although they are not long you’ll mostly find yourself pushing up a steep [Music] [Applause] forest located just by the lake the view from the trails is really [Applause] unique the trails are fairly easy and great for a more relaxed day on the [Music] [Applause] bike I’m here [Music] [Music] [Music] there are a few interesting elements to tackle but they all have a chicken way a turn popular for the ride around to avoid challenging elements wo there is a roundabout for the trails I’ve never seen this but it’s nice [Music] just by the trail we found an excellent restaurant with good [Music] food to finish the the day we visited Lorn Castle a medieval Hill Castle dating to the early 14th [Music] century it is on top of a 658 M tall Hill and gives an impressive view of the Filak region [Music] [Music] just by the castle is a Japanese makak monkey enclosure which actually brought us here with around 170 monkeys running around while we explore we had fun watching them play and learned some new stuff from the guided tool all the monkeys you currently see here are Japanese Mak with another name they’re also called snow punies and these names here that one thing and that is that they are in fact from Japan that they don’t mind the winter be cool every year we get around 10 new babies uh this year we unfortunately only have three so far uh but we’re quite lucky to see the very first one and now at the very [Music] beginning so de [Music] is approaching he knows how to do high five are you guys ready set for that [Music] [Music] the same as for humans there are some monkeys that like to go for a swim and um some that don’t for example hrey himself he’s not really fond of going into the water while his little sister loves to go for a swim so there are quite some differences now we we have those two around they both are really not typed to go in for a swim they’re also not stupid they know if they wait long enough the food will come to the shore so Marilyn is really hoping for that after monkeying around we definitely concluded that Filak area is surrounded by many mountains with awesome trails and that we will definitely come back to this area and explore a bit more until then see you on the next race
