Dugi Otok, cycling the long island of Croatia

This video is about cycling Dugi Otok, that translates in Croatian to the long Island. We had an amazing couple of days on this remote Island of the coast of Zadar in Croatia. We made some epic drone shots of the lighthouse in Veli Rat and Sakarun beach. We fell in love with Sali a small fishing village in the south of the island.

[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so we arrived with the boat from zadar to dublin we’re gonna cycle around here for three days today we’re gonna go up north we’re gonna go to um villerat and especially there is one of the most beautiful beaches it’s sakahun beach so come and join us [Music] so first impression here on velerate well it goes up i think the road goes up and down between the villages amazingly nice views from everywhere and uh there’s no traffic so it’s a really nice cycling uh maybe once every five minutes we see a car so that’s really nice [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so here we’re going after road to uh the famous sacaroon beach [Music] [Music] [Music] day two in uh uh we stayed in a really nice campsite here it’s really quiet it drank a nice bottle of wine yesterday and we had a really bad sleep but you know it’s camping and whatever but we’re ready to go again so join us coming up going south the way up to uh is definitely more uh more steep coming up from secaroon we’re coming up here to the viewpoint where we can see the island so this is a little stop you gotta make here [Music] [Music] [Music] me [Music] so we’re in the sally now this is a beautiful fishing village here this is where our trip ends and we spent an amazing time here in dublin talk we went first up to the north saccaron beach villerat around there camping was really beautiful then we cycled all the way down here to sally we decided to stay two days here take a break and then we went to the national park which was amazingly beautiful as for cycling in duguntuck it’s really a paradise it’s mid-september now it’s 28 degrees there’s no traffic at all maybe once every 15 minutes there’s a car so as for cycling that’s really amazing it goes up and down a lot but there’s amazing views duguntoc is a really long island so once you’re up you have beautiful views on the left and on the right side of bays and water it’s an amazing place it’s really wild and remote so all the way up north up to here there’s not much as not much to do for as villages go here in sally i found a nice mix of small fishing village and there is some sailing boats here so there’s a couple of nice restaurants there’s a really nice bar maritima so this is definitely the place to come when you go to duguntuk so thanks for watching and we’ll see you next time
