I skid all the time on my vertical dropouts and I haven’t had any issues or wheel movement.

yeah its fine, i rode a frame like that for a while but make sure to check its tight all the time, theoretically it could drop out of the drop out. You can always get the dropouts changed by a framebuilder if u love the frame that much
