I'm looking for advice if anyone's done this here and if there's any complications involved in putting a narrow wheelset on their fatbike. Narrow 29×3.0 tires compared to the 27×4.5 I guess, but as long as the hubs are the same?
The Divinci Minus has been great and it's also my summer MTB with the Mastodon Comp up front. But I'd rather fewer bikes capable of a wide range.

I’ve done this. It’s great. FYI, it’s going to lower the BB a little bit. Get wide rims. At least 40mm.

Kidding, I swap between my barbegazis 27.5×4.5 and xr2/4 29×3 all summer long. Feels like a completely different bike each time, highly recommend
Got 3 wheel sets for my Wednesday and 2 for my Pugsley. So yes, I recommend it.
