I dig the pair in the middle, but the most important thing is that you choose what’s comfortable for you!

  2. The I wouldn’t get on with the sweep of the klunker, but I love an xbike with Moto bars.

The boscos would crash into my knees on tight turns and get really annoying (speaking from experience)

So it’s the Seine for me – and the extra width will be nice for handling a heavy loaded Clydesdale rack

  3. Swallow. Mid. Not to say swallow is mid, but that’s what worked. I had a soma that looked like bottom and it hurt my friggin wrist

  4. Seine’s leverage will be most appreciated if you plan on carrying heavy loads.

  5. Each of those are very different handlebars in terms of fit and feel.

Which do you find most comfortable for the type of riding you’ll be doing with the bike?

That should be the primary deciding factor.

  6. I’ve got Boscos on mine and considering going to something with lass backsweep. I definitely hot me knees at times and it’s a bit upright for my taste.

Also having the bars back and wide makes the smaller wheel feel a lot twitchier. It’s better with weight but by itself a little sus

Option 2. I have bars with a similar sweep on two bikes now and there’s no going back for me with a flat bar build. Much more natural position for your wrists than the others (IMO), more control and I appreciate width.

  8. I’d probably opt for the bottom one, but I could also see the appeal of the top one and how very comfy and upright you could be, especially with the right saddle.

  9. I’d take the Seine for the sweep, nearly the same sweep as the Koga Denham bars I have.

I have Ron’s on my hardrock Clydesdale build and it’s a freaking dream

I also have boscos they are good bars too I didn’t go with the bosco on them cause the stem I had for it was not long enough so not to buy another stem I used the orto with a stem I already had since basically it’s the same bar just bent and I love them so much so I hope this helps

    Middle.

Edit, I ride both the Klunker and the Seine, for a Clydesdale I’d go Seine for the leverage

I just mounted up some Bosco’s and I love the durn things, perfect solution to converting a 90’s mtb into a glorious perfect cruiser. I like having two decent hand positions; bar end shifters open up some real estate for that. The forward hand position gets ya kinda sorta close to an “in the hoods” position but you can sit back and enjoy the scenery from the tips if you want. Not good for off road, though — you have a lot of leverage to twist those things in the stem. Get a stem with a solid attachment. The one pictured is good, although a bit short for those bars. I like my forward hand position a shade forward of the steering axis for best handling. You have plenty of pull-back, miles of it to work with
