It’s a good value for money if it fits. I used to commute on a race-oriented road bike, but that’s because my commute at the time was 48 miles each way.
For shorter distances I’ve prioritized comfort, but if I was regularly commuting 15+ miles I’d ride something like that.
My big thing with that frame would be tire clearance- I wouldn’t want to deal with those skinny tires. They’re less comfortable on crappy surfaces and more prone to pinch flats from road debris and potholes than larger tires, but if you’re okay with that, then enjoy the ride.
