  1. Did yourself a favor, better they broke on that baby burm then anything serious

  2. Damn, lucky it broke when getting back on and not in the middle of a run…

What bars are/ were you running? That didn’t look like too hard of a crash.

  3. Better break the bars and not your bones. But this doesn’t look like a hard hit. Older handlebars?

Did you torque your brake lever/shifter/grips to spec or just crank that shit down tight?

You got some nice veins in your arms but I don’t know how you fell on that whittle burm.

2nd set of broken carbon bars I’ve seen this week…think I’ll stick it aluminum.

Did you do the thing where you crash, adrenaline rage your body off the ground, and then continue pedaling like mad?

You need to stop. You need to collect. I’ve seen metals and carbon composites alike end up broken from the damaged-then-immediately-used dance. Resist the adrenaline…

Ya your lucky its defective or had a stress fracture from something else if that was enough to brake it. Better then than on a landing

  9. I wonder if this could be helped by not overtightening your steerer tube. I would expect to see the bars go off center before the end breaking off like this.

This video is masterfully edited. I love the “oh no…” right before the credits roll. I’m sorry about your handle bars.

  11. Haha this is great. Your tone of voice is just so positive, even when it brakes.
