Anybody have real world experience with the Profile Z Coaster? I’ve been considering this hub for a while now, but I haven’t really seen much about it since being released a while back, my guess is it’s due to the price. Not looking for alternative recommendations, just curious if it lives up to the hype. Last time I rode a freecoaster it was a KHE that stopped engaging and sent my knee into the stem enough times to get rid of it lol.

Good, yet very expensive. Positives are all spares are available, so can be rebuilt unlike many fc hybrids hubs. Works best with not the main supplied gap ring, but the next one up. One of my ex-pro guys rated it very highly and he rode street on it a lot, that’s before though the new planetary type came out.
