with my track champion out of commission (RIP) I'm looking for a frame sort of in the same style (or even more aero looking) to replace it but I am not quite OK with leaving a 1k Vigorelli parked outside of the office. any suggestions around 3-6ish k? I'm in European. PS: people recommended Aventon, Fabricbike but they seem crap?

do you mean 300-600? you wrote 3 to 6k, as in thousand.
where in europe are you? belgium here and i bought my frame on 2dehands.
edit: I wanted to say 300-600 euros. but can’t edit the post
You might be able to find a Fuji Track Elite for cheap. I found mine a few years back for $800 USD, full carbon frame, carbon tubulars, Dura Ace cranks, and 3T scatto bars.
Edit: Shit sorry I totally missed the description under the pic. Aventon is okay, not great. I had a frame briefly back in 2016 and it left a lot to be desired. I switched to State Black Label and thought it was good value, but not sure if that’s available in Europe. Sorry bro. 🙏🏼
how about Leader?
People love to shit on Aventon on this sub… but it’s not ‘crap’. It’s exactly what you’re asking for. Aero tubes, not expensive. It’s not gonna be fancy or high-end, but that’s exactly what you already know.
Do you want an aero frame or a cheesy frame with tall tubes that looks like what an armchair 90s road bike engineer thought was aero?
Start by looking for track bikes, not fixies. Look, Time, etc will have legit track frames that are aero optimized to win races.
Fixie brands like Leader, Aventon, etc are using 90s tube profiles that look dated and aren’t as aero as you’d think.
Plus aero also needs to incorporate rider positioning and wheel/tire setup. Boundary layers between a tire and a wider rim, optimal back angle with minimized cross section area of the rider, etc.
Ingria Airpusher, not sure about them welds tho
there’s always the pre-cursa but it’s a bit boring. also feels.like cheating on my old frame with her sister 🤷♂️
Dolan TC1 ?
Go for one that takes normal round seatpost, you don’t want that big hassle in case your seatpost breaks.
Giant omnium
PlanetX hands down. Sometimes you can also find a Dolan DF (there is a DF3 in my market, complete bike for 450€ for example)
