I did it last year. Couldn’t get a ticket this year. Was somehow relieved I wasn’t there when I saw the news about the rain.

Ive done it twice. Once it was raining all day and last year it was cold AF (I wasn’t dressed for the temperature).

context for those who don’t know: the Elfstedentocht is a traditionally an ice skating tour of 11 cities in the Netherlands that hasn’t been held since 1997 due to lack of ice. And fiets is Dutch for bicycle.
