Has anyone seen a tire fail like this? I only have about 600 miles on it, but the tread looks like it’s sloughing away from the sidewall. The other side looks normal, and the wear indicator at the center of the tread has a ton of life left.

Looks like something is rubbing the tire. Is there a rock or something caught in the seat or chain stays? Thats about all I can think of. It might have been there for just one ride then fell out leaving you with a crazy wear pattern. Either way, looks like its time for a new tire
