Another visit to Newcastle again, to see what has changed in this once vibrant little town. a town that used to feel posh and a special place to visit especially for us stoke folks many years ago. Sadly it’s now a town that is rapidly falling into decline like its neighbour stoke on trent.
so guys this is what you can see here all the [ __ ] everywhere here that’s as uh as you’ll probably tell by the noise at the side of the a 500 right on the border of um Newcastle just over there there’s The Unofficial border for Newcastle and uh as you can probably just make out here there mattresses and blankets just give a side of them that fence where homeless all living and sleeping right next to the A500 [Music] let just have a quick turn round um the reason we’re here is cuz once again we’re going over to uh Stokes old Posh Navy Newcastle oh it’s been around four or five months since I was last there the last video uh got a lot of interest look at this and uh a few things have changed since uh I last went few more businesses have closed down couple of vape shops have been uh raided oh god um vodka bottles everywhere so yeah so we’re going go over to Newcastle once again to um see what’s Chang okay guys just hope to see any Newcastle uh I just want to correct myself because I know some of you lot will who watch the channel some of you are M uh I have been saying City when I referring to Newcastle obviously it’s not a city it’s a town center uh it’s just a bit odd when you’re scanning places talking to yourself you sometimes uh get mixed up with one a few things so forgive me um only on the last video I was uh approaching somebody was H off the Reds on buy dust putting myself at risk approaching these people even though I uh I do keep a distance and uh all some clown could comment on was uh I was riding on the pavement you know I’m trying to Showcase an highlight what’s going on in this city and somebody just wants to Showcase me uh riding on the Pavements well the reason I’m me on Aldi is ah the’ve gone now the guys have as I was here yesterday and uh homeless had pitched up where this guy is now standing um just here on the edge of the Aldi car park through here um bagging on the car park just they moved on now so they they’ve gone they’ve gone ABY they were here yesterday on tense Wen they I don’t know I mean yeah I just get c one place after about 5 minutes yeah when I come yesterday there was a couple of them camped out here um well of course they leave all the [ __ ] don’t they you know it’s Council will get around picking about 3 weeks time yeah yeah spread around yeah yeah getting just just like Stoke there you are guys that’s how people think now at the moment how we’ve been conditioned given up on the council but yeah this is where they’ve been this is what they tend to do he Camp up for a day or two and move on now I’ve uh you just I’m it’s all right as I’m talking to you I’m just scanning for stringes obviously um I’ve touched up on this before it’s a gray area who’s genuine who’s not genuine because not all of them are addicts on the street I’ve certainly spoke to some who aren’t and I spoke to many who are who uh choose this lifestyle throw any Alp that oh Vape throw any Al they get away so I think we’ve got shring down there let me just take a look no we Haven no but as you can see Newcastle as slowly turning into uh well I wouldn’t even say slowly It’s Quickly turning into Stoke with the decline and the almost ah I knew it wouldn’t be long there we are shring right there I knew they got be somewh around so junkies then so we will go into the Town Center in a minute but I thought I’d just uh show you this on the outskirts because there’s one or two these places where they are let’s um let’s go take another look where I saw them the other day as well see if see if anybody’s uh hey look at this and they wonder why places are flooding so they can hide it behind the climate crisis bollocks there’s no crisis just start cleaning the drains out the problem will soon go here we are folks just outside the travel lodge and we’ve got more climate crisis here flooding I have just spoke to a couple of guys who just uh gone past off camera cuz I wanted to check with him if it was a gridy and he said yeah there’s a gridy here but it’s no point it’s blocked it’s always full it’s always floods so I have been trying to piss around and find it myself but it must must be well blocked so here’s your climic [ __ ] block grids two and the space of a few yards this one being on the little Travel Lodge car park all right I will eventually get into the town center but I keep being uh keep being sidetracked right off we go slashing me I’m telling you that’s you’re not slashing me slashing yeah try and get the attention from mothers yeah you’re not slashing oh no I’m no I’m not doing that no you with your camera a no I’m just filming the water down there I love at all hey n thinks I’m uh slashing it or something she says again some more of the junkies addicts whatever drugs the on they do tend to hang around you by S so I’m just going to head over head over there because [Music] uh there’s a few where antisocial problems been reported there by these people what these people are causing so should have say so I’m just going to have it have a quick look and if we film some more see some more block drains we’ll give them a film as well [Music] [Music] so x uh stoies X Newcastle folk hat sh little tour of Newcastle under line for those of you who have uh not been back for a while while Not So Posh now sadly um my little all round I’ve counted eight vape shops numerous clothes FY clothes shops up was certainly open last time I was here make it nine vape shops Vape Village oh you can smell it as well so as you can see it’s um not much difference now between Newcastle and am okay I’d say Newcastle still Fair up slightly better but uh not much the decline is happening fast and as I show in my previous video on here you depending on what time of day you come at night time you’ll get a lot of uh migrants especally on the empty Market store mostly African ones they seem to be in there some of these buildings here at the top fav up over tury hairdresses see them coming out of there I’ve just spotted another Vape Shop wow don’t know I missed that one so here we are 10 vape shops I can smile I I’ve been past Miss oh rap shops kids in there very look old enough looking at Vapes how the hell the counsil allow these VAP shops to spring up everywhere and be selling just sweets and crisps along Sid and have them all on display I think it’s disgusting myself personally and why these places aren’t being looked into more apart from the odd raid every now and again why 10 vape shops have been allowed to go ahead in a small little town like this re what you s so yeah not a great deal here today guys I was going to concentrate more on the homeless but the uh they’ve moved camps as you’ve seen so uh couldn’t get much coverage on that but as I said earlier to have addicts and homeless sleeping in the Town Center here at Newcastle was uh unheard of at one time no shortage now sad sad times guys very sad times so until the next one I think it’s appropriate to end I still think Newcastle looks better than Hanley, the precinct looks a little more pleasing to the eye despite the empty shops unfortunately. Even the Newcastle pigeons look a little more upper class than Stokes pigeons 😋

Areas of the UK where property prices are cheaper have been flooded with social problem tenants, many HMO's and many owned by companies/NGO's, funded by the tax payer. A good idea might be to do a FOI request and see how many HMO's are in the area and who is living there. You can also see if the number has increased.

The blocked Drains aren't a product of climate change, The Pi$~ poor council management of roadways/Footpaths is the reason for local areas flooding. And the Rivers are another issue. And every Town/City are being Run down 😞Unless they're Special lol BUT where are they??? THE Cun^servative Gov cutbacks have screwed most areas, Some Never to recover. That said Another ride around.

Castle seems to be suffering especially for several reasons. I remember by 1990 or so it had become especially reliant on chain shops / banks / services to occupy the town centre. Now demand for such things has declined rapidly since the Amazon / smartphone revolution of the last 20 years, all those chains are pretty much gone as there's no demand for them in a place like Castle with its widely spread suburbs and easy link to the Junction 15-16 of M6 to take you to better places (isn't that WHY the A500 got built – so cars could go between J15-16 while seeing as little of Stoke and Castle as possible?).
Sadly, there's no real reason for Castle town centre to exist any more. I think NatWest and Lloyds are the last banks in town now, so when they go (and they will) the council may as well level the place while they're doing Astley Walk.

I think it’s safe to assume most Vape shops and ‘European Supermarket’ style shops actually make all their money from under the counter sales of counterfeit tobacco and cigarettes, others are fronts for worse. (This is at least the case in Crewe, I’ve been into several where all the stock on display is actually out of date as they just use it to keep up appearances knowing no one will buy it)
I went Newcastle this afternoon and it was grim. Spent half hour up there and that was enough.

We are too soft on the so-called homeless and junkies. Most are homeless through their own actions and are in the streets because they refuse to use hostels. Most are criminals and spend their days thieving from shops and turning everywhere into a s**thole.

I was homeless in 2016 and i had no choice to get help from the rough sleepers team in stoke they got me a room in the hope Street hostel in Hanley i hated it but st least i was clean fed n watered but the service charge back then was very high and they also get a hefty amount of housing benefit, i use to speak to a few of the homeless amd said, why don't you get off the streets and get in the hostels but they refuse to psy the expensive service charge (or they prefer to sleep rough n buy drugs just my opinion) but i was in the hostel for 6 months then i got my own rented property and ive been here ever since,
Still better than stoke , we only got a few shops in Campbell place and the indoor market ,most of the drains in stoke are blocked "first bus" will have to change their name to "first boat" but they've found £9, million to tart the railway station up, i saw the other day that cannock have had £9,million as well ??,that must be a shithole as well…
