This year we teamed up with Muntada Aid to build a primary and secondary school in Mali. Team raised £74,131 for this amazing cause.

[Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] so I’m Adam this is my brother Yousef we’re from Leicester we’re riding with the club for the first time um we’re also here with my my cousin ibraim yeah just looking forward to it in um and I think we’re just getting to know the brothers here and hoping that we can raise a good [Music] amount okay Asam alikum everyone uh just want to say welcome to hnk’s National ride for the 10th Annual National ride actually London to bnorth um in Aid of building a primary and secondary school in Mali with our charity partner M sponsor for this year is fish and Mist in white chap I think most of you guys would know especially if you’re watching channel s just a quick intro to hnk alhamdulillah we’ve been running now for 10 years and this is this sort of national rise is what has been the backbone of this club um going back now 10 years ago we started off maybe with about 25 Riders um doing a national ride alhamdulillah last few years we’ve been getting 100 plus 165 last year around 140 this year um we are a voluntary organization uh run by the club members um alhamdulillah since then week in week out we’ve been just doing Club rides um Saturdays and pretty much run the whole year other than Ramadan now as well and obviously we’ve got the national ride that we do annually we have our Flagship event three cities in Europe and that’s going to an end this year actually as well that’s another 10th one finishing off in Istanbul and then for the last two years with our charity partner M partnership with m a shall I say we’ve been launched our hij ride we’ve been running for the last two years as well the only thing that I can say to you Brothers is you are in duas and the effort that all of you and your family and your friends are making inshah is going to go towards supporting and setting up this new Institute in Mali um and uh we believe that inshallah from the the research that we have done that it will be able to in the initial stages help 4 to 500 students and the families and this will inshallah work towards or go towards and bringing the families out of that cycle of poverty you know we’re trying to the aim is to give them that ability to learn and educate and have that education so that they can they can inshah go forward and and help the people in to everyone may Allah accept it from you may Allah give you 10 times [Music] more 2 3 one more time Allah protect you all [Music] in weatherwise it should be really warm today we got headwind pretty much all the way to bnorth but it’s not so bad I think um looking about between 6 to 7 mph picks up somewhere in the middle and then comes down again but yeah we got our friend headwind and then there I think some sometimes there might be a bit of rain and thunder but I think in this sort of weather it’s not it’s actually a blessing I think it’s a blessing it’ll cool you down and you’ll dry up within 5 10 or half an hour [Music] [Music] probably [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] ah [Music] so we are into on the fifth mile brother had a puncher he’s got a tubeless but obviously the sealant dried up um we tried SE running now couple of minutes they in the tire and that’s it good to go [Music] we need to take it out all right there you go you got it [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] love [Music] Alum hope everybody’s enjoying the ride and enjoying the day uh we just meet our we just come to our second stop um alhamdulillah so far it’s been amazing uh the scenic Roots have been fantastic we’ve caught a bit of rain but alhamdulillah Sun’s back out now so uh hopefully can dry off but yeah so far so good a well deserve [Music] coffee we got 55 miles so almost halfway um it’s the next break point and after that we should um a lot of Rolling Hills and general Trend will be downhill as well all the way to B we’re expecting to get to B possibly between 6:30 or [Music] 7:00 [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] ah [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Brothers my name is Abdul gani um Ely I’m one of those people that uh had had an accident um riding in the rain I think at the point in time they ACD happened it was quite quite raining quite heavily um and then I just sort of come down a descent and as I was kind of going up my back wheel just went a little dead and leaves on the road and as I was kind of turning my bike just kind of went at an angle and I just went over the on the side and landed on my shoulders and grazed the side of my body a little bit um just come out of A&E amazing smoke and uh the x-rays revie that I’ve got a bit of a fracture just under my under my shoulder um unfortunately going to be out riding now for the next uh well at least 2 to 3 months but this fracture itself is going to take sort of 6 to 10 weeks to heal uh unfortunately it’s one of those things that’s uh it’s one of the risks that you that that comes far and pass of the uh riding I guess um alhamdulillah um you know could have been a lot worse I know brothers are at the who’ accidents have been a lot worse um I’ve got a relatively small [Music] fracture alhamdulillah it’s been an Absol awesome Journey here been uh riding with some amazing Brothers they’ve been pulling me all the way through here alhamdulillah we managed to a complete 88 Mi um and we’re on the third pit stop now only 20 8 or 29 miles to go so inshallah hopefully we can try and complete that within the next 2 hours and looking forward to um relaxing at warmouth beach [Music] inah oh [Music] [Music] yeah [Music] make this Dua that Allah gives you the long life so that you are and Allah shows you the goodness of your family in this and the this is a we can say Allah allows you to see the goodness of your children your family in this world and the what you are doing is amazing in this school in we will be building in Mali and we’ll be taking again the brothers from HK Club to visit the school inah we’re looking to start the school inshah inah in September we will start the implementation of this straight away and then the students inshallah will look towards having having their classes start everyone to your families Allah reward you and your families and anyone and everyone who donated to Muhammad and everyone in if there any shortcomings forgive us if you don’t want to then have some Biryani [Music] [Music] in [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] oh
