Welcome to episode 21 of my Austria campaign! The time at last has come for the Battle of Paris – Archduke Charles marches the Austrian army from Reims into battle against the city’s defenders, which includes the Young Guard and the Grenadiers de Cheval. Archduke Charles will need to be willing to sacrifice many lives if the defenders are to be defeated and the city brought under allied control.
[Music] hello everyone Duke here with part 21 of this Austria campaign Napoleon TOA war and we are picking up at a strategically rather decisive moment of this campaign we need to decide when and where we will strike against the French next I feel like it will be most likely Paris but uh Napoleon has managed to summon every available man woman and child to its defense uh how he’s managed to musle all these men I don’t know I imagine they’re all a result of a huge recruitment campaign quite a while ago in the campaign while they were quite hemmed in and they’ve managed to H them in you know from everywhere because right now the only place they can get actual line infantry and Cavalry Etc is Malay and Paris Paris is not recruiting anymore and Mars is kind of Ned because we’ve sabotaged their building so they have a lot of militia fin I think but they still managed to I think they’ve just got quite a lot of our old units so I think the best thing to do is strike at it and you know slowly and surely and try and take them out at the heart but we haven’t got the strength I’m happy to wait one more turn I think before we do that cuz they’re not recruiting any more men so I think I’m happy to wait one more time and especially if we can get these guys reinforced as well just just a bit more these guys can now move to Reams and do a bit more reinforcement here I think they’ve managed to get a lot more done in Amsterdam otherwise so I’m quite happy with how things have developed it’s not been optimal but it’s been good and we can’t let perfect be the enemy are good just got to deal the hand that we’ve been dealt I do not promise a perfect campaign I just promise a close campaign if until we get over the Finish Line anyway so I think that’s it for this turn oh look at this we’re the most prestigious now OT are ancient history so they’re gone we’ve overtaken France PR is over taking France and we’ve overt taking Prussia we have taken our place at the top of the food chain this is good and you know what’s funny in a way it’s quite liberating that we don’t have to focus on Military Tech I’m quite happy with all the ones that we’ve got because we’re not a naval technology building a naval technology faction so there’s no point going all in on Naval Tech and we just don’t really have many I’ll I’ll Charles’s Legion which I imagine we only get one unit of look they’re just not brilliant compared to line like they’re not you know they’re not oh my gosh we need to recruit these guys now and put them in our army levels of good so in a way it’s kind of good that we don’t have to Prior military Tech and we just know what we fight with that’s line infantry units and caval units and about you know 12 pound artillery it kind of simplifies things at the same time it’s been a pretty boring roster um hasn’t inspired me to play more of the austrians but the challenge itself the Strategic and the Diplomatic and overal challenge of it has been its own unique Challenge and I’ve really enjoyed it I have really enjoyed doing this so far but I’m talking as if I’m near in the end and I’m not we have so much more fighting to do so without further Ado I’m going to hit and turn oh um I was forgotten to move that name that army is moving south okay it might be moving that Army’s moved back oh oh my goodness me Providence has provided look at that Paris is now actually a viable Target I don’t think nealian will have many good units in there I think that will be quite a lot of militia and he’s just oh make my day Oh I thought he was going to move that Army out of range as well in a way I think Paris has just become the most temp in Target right let’s see if Prussia can um seiz the day and actually March against bararia all right they managed to take Castle back good I’m not delighted to see my old protector and friend Bavaria fall but if we if we want someone to win the war now it has to be presser cuz we need the access between the Germanic States so you know I hate to say it but Bia you need to go look at this this is ridiculous what is this a Prussia convention jeez ohania you tried but and that’s that that’s Checkmate for the Russians they’ve taken the they’ve taken the Romanians out so hopefully they won’t declare war on the Greeks but they might oh yeah that’s the thing we haven’t checked uh Istanbul in a while to see if that’s been repaired in any way ooh Spain’s moving up I’m not actually too worried about austri Russia yeah now that they’ve won the war with the with Romania um I think they’re quite Keen to march on us now let’s see if we can restore the alliance no they don’t like it we we’re too aggressive that’s the problem we’ve taken too many regions let’s try and offer [Music] them Army organization hey we got an alliance back excellent right construction uh Vienna has built okay let’s go for it while we got the money let’s build this cuz it’s going to give us plus two happiness in all our region it’s going to take a while to build but it’s going to be more worthwhile than the ordinance world that’s for sure this G give us Prestige not that it matters in this game there’s no Prestige Victory from what I can remember um but that plus two happiness will be extremely useful so I’m going to build that uh Nation destroyed Romania well should a Time come that we have to go to war with Russia we can Rel liberate it sir um so you know they’re not out permanently if we can deal with fr sooner rather than later then move our might back to the Empire itself uh then then Russ you know then War can come and we can march on them cuz by that point all we need to do is get our remaining Victory conditions that’s the thing I need to deal with France first these guys need to die even if you leave Paris just that alive it will find a way to survive and you know it will just will it’s so strong we need to deal with this get our to conditions over here in the west and if make Britany our protectorate and give these regions to them we’ll have our Victory conditions we need and then we just need take this region here and liberate Prussia and I think Prussia Poland and get these two regions and Saxony so I it’s it’s the best decision in my head I think it’s the best thing to do uh so anyway uh these armies are actually quite yeah look at that perfect they’re on yellow so oh if only we had that last turn we could have actually oh do we wait one more turn that’s the question Juno is pulled back I think that’s it would be they’re not they’ve only got one recruitment slot that doesn’t make any sense do we let them one more turn build that so that we can give that to the BBN as well this arm is nearly done as well fact Let me let me just I’m going to gamble it I’m going to move this Army down south and assume that yeah replenishment is even better here so that’s great so this Army can stay here that’s one we turn away from being pretty much at full capacity uh Charlie Boy you got you can head up here too oh maybe not ah they’re not cuz I’m just they’re not recruiting anywhere that’s still not finished they’re not recruiting why not get one more turn of [Music] replenishment this arm is good to go this arm is nearly good to go this arm is one turn away from being pretty much good to go and this arm is nearly good to go why not wait one more turn get all our strength that we can let’s move Charles up as well you can take over command of his old army or maybe do we do we replace Yan Yan’s only a three he’s the lowest seems a shame he’s been one of our longest service serving generals but he can stay behind oh yeah good I thought I move the Army out uh Charlie uh you resume command of the army here excellent cuz I think having the morale bonus of K will be very important when we attack Paris we want every available advantage that we can right so I think we we’re not far away having four near Enough full Stacks to attack Paris we could have attacked now Frey Grant but um it’s a gamble I’m willing to take to take I’m just going to build up a decentish Garrison here um yeah that Army might march on Strasburg nothing’s changed it’s not like I if they do that’s in a way good cuz that’s a very good army that’s going on a bit of a suicide mission that way so I don’t really mind as long as it’s kept away from Paris and I think this arm’s moved back here can’t really decide what it’s up to but um it’s just uh save the [Music] game making quite a lot of money now we like we like to see it you guys going [Music] there Rich beyond the dreams of aus I’m going to get one more turn of equipment then and I love that Brussels and Holland become really strong it’s good I think the prussians come knocking that we whoa Nine Stars my goodness who’s in there what are we doing the fighting the prussians should be doing it right now they’ve taken hessen back they got an army positioned over here they just need to move this Army over here that’s all they need to do and end the war just do it just do it what Char abff do okay I don’t think there’s too much more to do here arm just need one more turn of replenishment and then I think I feel confident enough to strike at perie cuz I like to get it resolved quickly cuz I just don’t like the fact that the Russians are clearly plotting a war against us so look at they’re living the life of Larry look at this they only at War who’s on the way out hopefully they don’t they’re still very funny with us but not funny you know very friendly still means break an alliance cuz they just don’t like us they want our regions they want Galo I think that’s the problem wow yeah building this building has let’s yes sir sped up replenishment here I’m just going to some let’s just okay they’re moving this Army back might be in range it might not be who knows cool brilliant they mve that Army back to try and take our sass I I don’t care that’s fine that makes the on Powers easier that’s fantastic they move that Army up there fine this is going very well cuz Al is easy to retake who cares that’s brilliant that was worth an extra turn of replenishment I truly don’t care if they take our us back because that’s no longer strategically [Music] important right P I’m telling you right now you need to march on Munich and you didn’t well why now per is going to get a turn and it’s got a big army on your doorstep B presser look at this I mean look at that now be is completely EMP how have you not done this oh surely next time they’re going to do it surely surely cuz all they need to do is take Bavaria and all the other armies will fall apart oh this just gone so well look they’ve literally pointlessly raided Cala oh this is so good got a spy establishment don’t really know what that does what I might do though is try and sabotage this again yeah yes we’re so Jammy I can’t believe it right let’s put another pause on their agreement Johan Sigman Von rice is now available in in Vienna too important we have built our maxed out Opera uh in the uh Venice um too much more building to do really oh quite happy with where we [Music] are yeah there really isn’t much more to do at home that I’m not happy to risk look at this they’ve wasted an entire Army going back to try and take Strasburg how lucky are we we just need to send one of these armies back to to Garrison if they take it back they take it back whatever in fact let’s cancel these cuz they’re going to do it we March these three over to stutgart with the protection of benen the Army there they’ve put Napoleon down here it’s everything’s just worked out brilliantly what we need to do now it’s Mar from Paris Paris per and that’s them crippled oh just this is just incredible I can’t believe I lot cuz it thinks it’s it thinks it snook at us by going for alas it thinks oh great now they’re eating from us behind but that’s we’re over here I don’t care our will be easy to retake at some point all the prussians might take it who gives who gives a crap all we got to do is take Paris and that’s it oh it’s so they’ve really blundered there and I couldn’t be happier right I think AR Charles needs to be the one so I’m going to March up slowly I’ll keep one Army back for now in case in case um going to move slowly yes sir I think that should mean we’re all in range great right we’re is that is yeah we got our two armies reinforcing good two Ries one and a half two R three like that’s this arm is too far away it’s just I can’t believe how lucky we’ve got there that’s nuts Paris should have Napoleon really messed up there he should have thrown everything to Paris cuz that would have been a really really difficult fight but he’s obsessed with reclaiming Strasburg and this arm we even have the spare we could even send that to go try and take out Napoleon even if it loses who cares like it’s just it’s so good we’ve won oh man hopefully let’s I think we need to win this battle now against Paris let’s do this um I’m going to have a little little nosy over here there are no more men this way oh this is just insane I can’t believe it they cleared the way to Paris I think the best thing to do this Army I’m going to put this guy uh in Brussels cuz he’s he’s in danger but everyone else yeah why not I’ll send him to re to guard Strasburg cuz he’s the only Army that can now you know defend it they move in take B prussians can’t do anything about it they’re too weak we you move in and retake it I’m going to probably position it on the bridge we move in retake it these three armies move in here get a ton of replenishment move back and take out re of the moves in it’s perfect it’s perfect oh I’m so happy with how this turned out we really really really were rewarded for waiting doesn’t normally happen with me but it did this time right it’s not going to be an easy fight by any such we got the young guard here first foi guards one of the elite infantry units but they got no Marshall so their morale is as low as it possibly can be it’s a very doable battle some 12 Pounders we take this they got no more artillery that’s it no new artillery they might have some running around but no more new artillery first SCE guards yeah they got some grenadiers a shabal pretty tricky quite a lot of Cavalry reinforcing we can do this we can actually flip and do this and take Paris what we waiting for let’s do this let’s go ah Arch I’m so happy that archd Charles is the one to do this as well I’m so happy that the historical General the best Austrian General by far this war is the one to do this I’m this is this is Providence okay right let’s set up and we got a nice flag round as well oh you love to see it all right let’s let’s do this J let up pretty standard formation I think that’ll be quite good they’ve had to deploy first as well because they haven’t got the uh well any general so a norm a typical general you know if you’re not a marshal if you’re just a b standard captain of an army is uh one star which is beaten by any general pretty much unless your general is so terrible uh that um haven’t done that I think I’d rather have one more unit here but yeah unless your general is so bad that he has negative modifiers to bring him down to one you’re probably going to deploy first sir right you guys deploy there I’m doing this cuz I don’t think they got as many men on this flank here as they do on the other side so I’m going to put like this oh yeah c um you guys there you guys there Charlie sir uh you come back here they got quite a lot of cannons so un group stretch out far as you can go that way Cannon start fir oh excellent right I’m curious where the reinforcements will come in from we have to keep an eye on [Music] that nothing yet I stretched it out cuz then it it sometimes you can better see where they’re coming in from I’m not seeing anything right now they’ve moved their artillery in some contingen they mov their Left Flank into the town itself to occupy this uh Village or town depending so uh that’s going to be a tough not to crack we got our Tre on the left here keeping an hold on out going to keep this map uh stretched out for a little bit that’s good [Music] stuff I think they’re actually coming on which is going to be good for us let’s see if we can a little get a little nosy out there grenader shal the first SCE guards these are some of come get a CL of the French roster although if you ask me Shel D shal are still in some ways better cuz they get guns uh but these are technically some of the heaviest Cav of the game and certainly some of the most elite of the game some of the most elite heavy Cavalry uh in the French R and who they elected to give General to which Mak sense kind of like they got the same beber skin hats as the old G which are quite cool they kind like the old G very cool all uh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa yeah they’re coming on okay so far so calm I to wager a guess based on where everyone’s deployed I would say that reinforcement is going to come in from this site that’s no guarantee if it was Napoleon reinforcing I feel like that’s almost they come on at the worst place for you I just feel like the game’s programmed to make thepoon come in from a really difficult side who W all everyone shoot I’m not for me squares cuz they they’ll like that we instead just going to shoot I think this fence is actually G us quite good cover see this little wooden fence I think it’s actually giving us cover from their bullets him the fifth White Horse this is one of their old units all right take him out guys I believe in you you can do it you fought all the way from Istanbul to the gates of Paris you can take on that shasu deev unit come on meanwhile you guys let me that canning it for [Music] now combatant winning [Music] slightly I don’t believe a word of it I’m going to explore this like this so what I’m going to do do is try and fire on the side of that Cav unit look at that they’ve responded in kind stretch to thin another shot I win right uh we got some Cavalry coming up here [Music] yeah good the more Cavalry we can take out at range the better I mean the more anything we can take out at range the better but shasu D shal certainly like mounted snipers those guys oh whoa whoa whoa whoa what’s all this about then what’s all got’s going on here right so the entire arm is coming on right on this flank here that’s not good at all infantry right well we’re going to have to just accordingly um well this couldn’t on worse got it Square now first lers this this is some of their OG units um right hold there charge what’s going on here sh more of them coming back again right they’re losing good lost a lot of men fight in the unit I think we lost quite lot of funny fight uh let’s get these cannons to fire forward now all right excellent there well fight will again but we deoy like this out of square please let’s reform up again cuz they’re coming on okay don’t forget of course we have reinforcements too and their army that is reinforcing is only about 2/3 of a stack full and we have two full Stacks we can throw the kitchen sink at this Army here we are being rewarded now with our patience with vast Manpower reserves which we will use to their full advantage believe you me so yeah right here they come almost Ed to charge into Malay so I might bring some lances up in case we do let’s get a few early shots off because oh sh of course it’s chest station this Mission just got a lot more [Music] complicated Yeah Bang come on have go think you’re hard enough come on charge me go on go on do it two happens right what’s going on over hereo bombarding this flank is pretty calm quite happy with it good thing weed more of infantry on this going for this cannon canister in that direction please there we go excellent off and cuz they in a t we going to have to chase him down as confucious one said if they run out Town don’t chase them down this unit oh no that unit managed to circumvent the square and go straight to this line that’s not good but charge him with this unit here I’m going to reinforce this one you two no you uh no you can keep firing you got the angle Advantage there I [Music] think which is going to have to overwhelm our men are running Force buer um uh yeah at the same time they are point for that land I’m not too surprised they’re fighting long and hard sending in their cannons next it seems oh no it’s just this unit over here right charge in you guys come out square if we can take out this flank then we can use every available man to actually turn on this Wing here so these guys are not coming back they’re done uh yeah good we can see these guys wait that’s the young guard right so that’s fire see all right take out this unit if we can and then we can turn charge the Cavalry to take out this artillery unit oh dear that’s not [Applause] good oh just die will you right Che out this Cav unit it’s coming on glorious victories huh no it’s not I’m flattered but it really isn’t oh dear yeah I managed to reach us oh sh my kryponite they always manage to find a way to annoy me in every battle even if they’re at third strength or below our final way it’s my curse our men are running for US yeah this flank is collapsing as we speak it’s just too much reinforcement from this side maybe we can turn these renes around try and finish off this Guard unit first uh you guys two sand around you charge the Old Guard and make them flee yeah that’ll do it I re that’s finish them off look at that 10% strength still fine all right all right no what should can do about those guys either they’re done so we’re going oh bit funny fire happens all right let’s get these guys back um you guys and you guys up here I just don’t think we’re going to get these cannons reinforced before they take over so and we can’t Lim them up anymore cuz the um their horses have bolted [Music] so dang we this take a situation here okay going have to move someone over here I’m going to move these guys up to try to take out that Cannon you guys can stop that uh no no sorry you stay there you guys find that unit Inc come the shers got be ready to deal with them so let’s go don’t please don’t fire at me please don’t shoot oh they shot great oh they set up a nice um sort of angle on us from there let’s do everything we can to try and take up this unit excellent oh PR we got these guys to run off great I’d really like to take out that Cannon unit so we can oops uh take out these guys come on please all right you guys yeah Char I can right seeing the numbers go down we like to see that but so are [Music] [Applause] ours yeah unfortunately the shev no match for the ches [Applause] any Lu though if now if now they’re sending infantry that means to me that they’ve got no more Cavalry at all I’m quite happy to send this unit on a suicide mission to take out their [Music] Cannon go and then I’ll withdraw them and I’ll replace them with someone else fact send me these guys you’re done so you [Music] go oh there we forcing from all different sides now looks like they’re coming from that side smartly done so let’s pull back um oh brilliantly done they reinforced from that angle God they re they’re picking their moments to reinforce aren’t they yeah they’re dead look at that they man R can they can almost pick and choose where they reinforce are running oh blooming super AI right not much we can do now we’re in trouble but we got us reinforcement Cavalry which is good let’s if Fact one up let’s charge this unit here along with you uh this unit this Army still hasn’t come on yet which is a bit frustrating whoa the sheit cheek of it just firing cannons on our uh generals where’s Charles yeah he’s back here send send Charles over here to inspire in the fight against these units here oh you guys turn around you got more pressing issues right now you got them coming on why are these guys up to it’s fine cuz we’ve managed to take out quite a lot of them with B shot so it’s all right but I’m not quite sure what their plan is [Music] right absolutely shatter that unit good all right you stand here everyone give everyone a bit of a confidence boost uh I think they’re kind of obliged to charge in now because yeah they can’t withdraw in time so I’m going to Rally everyone give them a bit of a confidence boost and Tackle them this zone of influence isn’t moving as much as I’d like I think it’s stuck with Charles so just move him up a little closer there that’ll do it right now move back right what’s going on over here still nothing gers and you go oh no reinforcements look at this and a cannon right are these guys yep these guys are formed up now great you march up this way please any reinforcements from this side excellent you guys charge that unit please these guys are nearly third ver thir look the these are really some old school units this is definitely like the CL de CL of the French army some of the starting units that they had if not the starting units the ones that they recruited early on so we are really right in the heart of the of the of the Beast now the belly of the Beast so every unit they send in we just need to send in one of ours we’ve got the men now to match them right shatter these guys too just so they don’t come back and then once that’s done I think we can abandon them oh no these a reinforcement so it’ be quite good to actually take out the unit in a way I I feel like it would actually be fair for a gab ascending unit to be able to still withdraw it would it’s what you would do historically you would give up a town if you felt like there was no hope of Defending it it feels a little harsh that they can’t um but today quite happy they come so let’s go move out and take out as much of them as we can I don’t suppose that’s all of their reinforcements yes if it is I’m not complaining sir sir I think all in this Skirmish but we’ll certainly have to pull our Cavalry back from this Wing if we do they’re not giving us up with that fight look at this 96 men left out of 400 and diminishing and still going oh they got more reinforcements all right okay this is nuts but this is the mor of the French they have to deal with right finish him [Applause] off good that do me I’m happy now all you guys pull back you guys pull back you guys sort of form a wing over here um right good [Music] stuff look damage we taken from that Cav unit there’s just no way we can’t just unfortunately the reinforcements are coming from the one place we didn’t want them to come and that is over here AI have uh I I I can’t remember where the deployment Zone was uh on the campaign map right now so it might be accurate to where they are I’m not too sure if not they have picked their ground very well so let’s stretch these guys out again just to form a new flank here use these two to keeping on this side I’m going to withdraw this unit I don’t think a 9 man unit is going to be much [ __ ] now same with these guys actually why not let’s get full strength units in we got them waiting and the edge of the map is only over there let’s make them run oh no not okay they they run by default they’re withdrawing that’s interesting makes sense excellent yeah just keep hitting these guys what up all right we’ve got a nice little V doubt here like that goodness Napoleon’s not here and he decided instead to risk everything on a counter attack alas otherwise we really would have been in a sticky situation for this uh and this is another thing I like in the old games you can see the General’s portraits here it just shows you who’s in the battle uh in Rome 2 you can’t you don’t really put a face to the name when it comes to your generals they’re just like names oh even not names they’re just armies in these games like um we have the that’s Cole Mack that’s AR sh Charles that’s Ferdinand now I know who they are cuz I’ve seen their faces over and over that wasue tah must rest a while yeah if they’re F if they’re tired that’s fine cuz they’re leaving the battle anyway let’s turn these guys around a little bit you [Music] guys are those reinforcements no no they’re not reinforcements good that’s good toight they’re a little scattered now I think we’ve managed to regain the advantage they had it for a while there when they were reinforcing we were a bit overwhelmed there but we’re able to cyc our cycle our units whereas they cannot so we have the advantage all you guys fall that way you stretch out again take out M turn on fire will good [Music] stuff might be a good time to take out oh no no I I don’t think we need new cannons either so you guys can go I’m going to send this light say light small C units go take out that Cannon if we could take that out that’s going to make us a lot safer I might even take out and then withdraw it get another unit right oh there orangey now understandably a little concerned about the casualties that they’ve sustained can’t blame them but I only need them to take out a cannon group and then they can go home I say home back to base you cannot go home right in you go I wish these guys would come on they just annoyingly far away not coming I want to deal with them so I can turn around and oh would you know they time their reinforcements of affection look at that that’s what their plan is I see it now look at that how perfect time was that at least we it was a suicide mission but just enough of them surv to make it to that unit then I’ll withdraw them from this side of the map and then get y so I think they’re triggering in their reinforcements when they need them as opposed to [Applause] May that’s it taking this unit out C but we don’t have to chase it down cuz this is part of the Garrison so right now withraw are you out you [Music] done all right you guys with draw I’ll have you though turning into the flipping Huns here with all the Cav we got but they haven’t actually moved off the battlefield which is been annoying but they’re getting ignored so it’s all right it it works out fine good they’re technically not on the battlefield if they still if the AI still noticed them and attacked them while they could I couldn’t do anything about it that would have been a bit cheesy but they’re just they’re in the battle but not at this moment I don’t think cannons are helpful I think just infantry will be useful I should have re I should have rearranged the reinforcements I forgot to do that again I keep for it’s cuz I’m so used to this game I I didn’t know that that was a feature until this campaign this series I’m doing right now I didn’t know that so I keep forgetting that is a feature until after the battle starts eventually it will sink in but it is not this day they just keep Milling about rather they just came on and got it done [Music] with looks like they’re sending some Cavalry up of course a blooming canister turns always happens try to take [Music] out I miss that this game doesn’t have fire by rank it has fire and advance but I don’t like that very much I prefer [Music] five [Music] yes sir [Music] the sir sir artillery yeah there’s no way one of my units would survive that long only the French units would do [Applause] that sir sir our general is under attack point you Army lover it’s moving back oh perfect we got some more reinforcements excellente right you guys can form up a line here three of you that s of a staggered V but yeah you guys find these units Splat blap now they’re finally coming on these guys are still meing about so we get to shoot on them while they’re doing that got some GRS here fantastic they’re more accurate and have longer range might just come in [Music] [Music] handy lovely there well good all right you guys pull back a bit here they’re trying to outflank you so back a bit s them whoa you’re going to get hit don’t know what we going to do about actually there’s quite a lot of that’s coming on side right now deal with this turn [Music] on wow okay finally they’re flee good at last right nice turn on these guys yes [Music] sir yeah I didn’t expect this to be an easy fight and we mov right so far right oh they fled a little easier than I expected it’s very nice indeed right we’re going to have to turn on this unit now cuz that’s coming on it’s pretty much are militia and cannons my goodness me they have a lot of them and we take out these armies Napoleon takes rooms fine not he’ll be completely surrounded we can take him out and then Mar is right [Music] here I got some good buildings here as well so if we can repair this building here and they’ got a quite good road it should give us quite good replenishment and it’s completely depri Paris of now any military recruitment apart from Mars and want to same military recruitment I mean of course line infantry and Cavalry and stuff so they’ve really been crippled now we we have marched into Paris how incredible is that it’s weird that we didn’t get any like objectives uh to do with that but you are so this war has taken a decisive turn but we still out the woods yet because we have two whopping great armies wandering around the French can certainly count on Manpower of nothing else they just they just got so much of it you know they just taken out all their major recruitment areas and still they can produce armies like no one’s business in fact they technically outnumber us got one full Army here one full Army there one full Army there we’ve got three batted armies here this Army is most need okay I’ll have to De I I’ll decide this in the next episode but got to decide who’s going to march on that Army this Army has to March back because um he’s closest oh not there uh bovich yeah we’ll have to move back he’s mostly intact he moves in here retakes that destroys that Army Napoleon will probably march on Reams and we can take that we haven’t got enough movement to take out Napoleon right now I don’t think Juno will march [Music] on himself not least because they have a lot of [Music] maltia opponent’s got good army again okay I think we can now emphatically say no they got a lot line infantry here where they get it from I do not know um but yeah they are considerably weaken if we can take out all these armies here I wonder I okay KH is a new Cal which means hold Reams nothing okay so they’re not getting any more men we’re really green with everybody I’m hoping that our war actions against France is making us really funny with everybody don’t like that Russia’s own ukar West that’s made me sad actually what we could do with our money we could actually just gift Greece quite a lot of money here it’s not only that it it will make us in good it will consolidate our hold on France we’ve got the Spanish coming in as well but there shouldn’t be too much problem compared to the French so I’m not too concerned about that and then we need to M Marine to liberate that and restore the borbon monarchy to Paris itself can it be done not to say it’s a guarantee because there still a ton of fine to do all across here but I think we’ve managed to make a turning point now we’ve actually managed to take Paris which has reduc our income because it’s we’ve had to exempt it from tax it’s just maybe there’s not much point maybe we might as well tax it actually it’s going to Rebel anyway not much we can do about it we can get some research done actually h [Music] on [Music] who maybe on the top gallons to Gallant we’ll do that and then who knows you know maybe within 20 turns we might actually have Paris Paris France completely under b control again and then once it’s liberated we can either deal with Spain or March East again uh to hold cuz if we if we gift all these regions back to Paris over time our expansion penalty will be gone right and then we’ll be seen no more as aggressive as we were at to start of The Campaign which means that Prussia and Russia might not see as an aggressor this is obviously best case scenario so it might give us time to then deal with Spain make that out protector as well and then we got to liberate Rome and trade that perhaps for inur and then finish things off with the war against Prussia and Russia to get our final Victory conditions but that is way in the future right now right now we do with an
