  1. I prefer to cycle on the road. Years ago I used a cycle lane in London, crashed and totaled my bike because of some weak middle class health and safety council worker thinking he had common sense while designing some stupid cycle lane.

  2. My immediate assumption was the bike lane doesn't form part of a network. I go to Google Maps and not only doesn't it connect to anything, but it ends at that traffic light visible in this video! It literally has a sign saying "END OF [BIKE] ROUTE" not 80 metres from where you were standing.

    You'd hate me all the same, because without a proper bicycle traffic light at that intersection, I'd join Sauchiehall at Douglas/Dalhousie and ride on the road to turn onto Blythswood/Rose.

    No, he shouldn't be on the pavement. However, not everyone is comfortable riding on the road and, from what I hear of Glasgow drivers, the drivers aren't welcoming.

  3. Same in my town before they were installed hardly seen a cyclist never seen one since use them and now they spend more time digging them back up just to cause more disruption..// as is the plan
