Build is a ’92 (’93?) Rockhopper Comp with a Stridsland Barnacle Fork, Stridsland 1″ threadless headset, some Deore hubs laced to Velocity T/R rims, 26×2.2 SimWorks Panaracer Super Yummys, an 11 speed Deore groupset, and Avid Shorty Ultimate Canti rear + Deore V Brakes up front. Brooks C17 for the saddle, Sunday BMX stem, Wilde Cardinal Bars and some Tiagra levers to tie the brakes together.
Overall, very pleased with how it turned out, although I have a 38T Wolftooth Chainring coming in to replace the stock 32T on the Deore cranks. 11-46T on the rear, so the front 32T is just a bit too slow for my liking.
Excited to put a lot of miles on.

I like that you went with a threadless headset and not an adapter.

I might be late to the game but I’m finely starting to understand why these rockhoppers are so dang popular. They are just two beautiful triangles, they ride pretty nice everywhere, abundant and fairly priced (depending on where you look), and are pretty easy and straightforward to tinker on. Nice bike!
