This could go two ways. One of those ways is that this has some sort of collector value and the other is it’s just a 2002 mountain bike. I have no information on the value of it as a collectors item but as a 2002 mountain bike it’s worth less than $200. The truth may lie somewhere in between.

If it needs work, there’s a negative value. No work, it’s barely above zero.
I remember these things from back then, kind of a failure because they actually sucked hard. Just look at how high the top tube is then ask when is it then curved upward on top of being high. Then ask yourself if that’s what you really want. They sucked, geometry was bad, the suspension was terrible. They were those dealership bikes.

There’s no market set for these, and your buyer is going to be a bike collector. It’s really a “what someone is willing to pay” situation as this isn’t a bike that sells often. I’d replace the brake cable since that costs basically nothing, and then put it on eBay for $2000 OBO and see what happens. No sense comparing it to other 2002 mountain bikes as you’re most likely not selling this to someone who plans on riding it.

There’s isn’t really a market price as there are so few of them.
Put a big price on it & wait for some Ferrari owning chump to grab it as a collectors item

I think $2,000 – $4,000 is a realistic number. It’s going to take a while to sale, you’ve got to find a buyer. I’ll give you 1,500 plus shipping right now if you don’t want to mess with it.
