I’m a sit down stoner. I never enjoyed exercise when I’m green. I’m jealous.

I get high before most rides, and I’ve done all my gnarliest ones while high, be it solo backcountry, black/double black tech trails I’ve never ridden, etc.
It helps me so much. Namely, it keeps my stomach happy. I have issues with being able to ride if I’ve eaten anything a couple hours prior, but if I smoke beforehand I have nothing to worry about. I also like how I can just zone out and spin on long climbs, I’m just focused on getting up the hill and nothing else. Same for riding down, I enter the flow state much easier if I’ve smoked.
I know some people who can’t stand smoking before a ride, so I would say the effects really vary from person to person. Personally I can’t imagine riding without it more than is necessary (ie, lunch rides).

I know any kind of smoke consumption is bad for you, but I think if you train enough, the effects are negligible
