I was lusting after a fun and affordable first bike-based project to waist some of my time on. The amount of old bikes in need of some love and the flat terrain in the Netherlands made my decide to convert this Motobecane i bought for next to nothing into a singlespeed. Had an awesome time checking out all of the amazing bikes on here, sourcing the parts, building the bike and now finally doing some miles on her. Thank you guys for the inspiration and education, it reminded me why i love the internet sometimes.
