Was told this was my grandfather in laws old bike and I am in the beginning phases of building it into my gravel/cruiser/dadmobile. I noticed the frame size says 50.8cm which seems small. Basically everything I can measure aligns with my modern gravel bike (top tube length etc)…. Am I missing something? Should I still build it?

Mountain bikes are traditionally sized using inches. You have a mountain bike.

50.8cm is exactly 20 inches, which would be a **size large mountain bike frame.**
