    If you turn it up the other way and clip the dry bag clip around the seat post, there’s no chance you will lose it mid ride.

    nah but seriously everything “bikepacking” specific is vastly overpriced, good on you for coming up with an alternative. I’ve seen people repurpose those chalk bags climbers use into stem food pouches with a sewing kit and some straps for vastly cheaper that the “bikepacking” version.

  3. True. I’ve read that racks are also an option back there. What is that, 3 liters? Day trip? Most rear storage whatever it is, is probably well north of 10L. My panniers are 12l each and either a dry bag or bear can on top is another 10l. Dropper still works.
