This ride takes you up to the highest road on Monte Baldo. Monte Baldo rises over 2000 meters from Lake Garda and is the highest mountain in the area. Many regard this climb much more difficult than Mont Ventoux in France. The ride comprises two climbs with a descent in the middle. On the first climb, you will pass vineyards, farmhouses, and olive groves. The views are splendid with open views of the plateau and the mountains. The first climb ends in Spiazzi followed by a beautiful descent where you can rest your legs. A rest you need because the next climb is much more difficult. Halfway through the second climb, you will be rewarded for your hard work with marvelous views of the mountains. You end your ride on the highest point possible by road bike.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride… We have left the original sound of the ride out. This is because the noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider’s breathing drowns the natural sound of the surroundings.
