Finally found my grail bike: 1984 Mongoose ATB

After building a 2021 Supergoose a couple of years ago, I went down a rabbit hole of classic Mongoose bikes, and dreamt of someday owning a Two Four or an ATB. As much as I like ripping around like a kid on a 20” bike, I liked the idea of cruising comfortably on a larger frame. Also, I love the bare chrome finish, slingshot stem and pro class wheels. It’s original and intact, so I’m planning to keep it that way. I’m going to take it down to the frame, clean it up and polish, grease and recondition, and build it back up to ride like it’s 1984.
