An acquaintance who is new to MTB sent me a text saying he always feels like he’s going to go OTB at our local trail. I asked for a pic of his bike, but I can’t figure out what model it is.
It has 26” wheels. Rockshox with U-Turn, 1x drivetrain. Deore LX cable brakes.
He’s 6’ tall.
He has very little MTB knowledge and bought it on FB marketplace for a few hundred bucks.

Yeah way too small for 6. Modern trail bike is what he needs. A modern 29er trail hardtail will smoke that bike.
That looks like 2005 Cannondale Jekyll Femine. The bent top tube is pretty distinctive

That thing must be brutal on climbs. Looks like maybe a 34t chainring with a small range cassette.
Huh! I thought only Mongoose used that linkage system.
