Is the sun damaging the latex tubes on my flat repair kit?

I love this exposed latex tube on my saddle bag because they match the accents on my bike, but I'm noticing it is becoming a bit discolored from the environment. Is this tube going to be useless when I go to change a flat because of UV damage, or should it be fine?
