I noticed his bike has some rust or dirt (?) on it? Which parts can be cleaned and which parts need to be replaced? Is it safe to use vinegar, steel brush/wool? Does he have to disassemble before cleaning or can he clean it as is?
Thanks

I’ve used some dawn power wash to cut through some of the grease and grime of my bike. I had it in the house so it worked well. I also used a wire brush to knock off the rust on the bolt heads and metal parts. Again- had it in the house. I picked up some tri-flo to put on some of the rust prone bits to see if that helps. Time will tell. It’s been a few months and it’s still looking good by my standards.
PS- please tell me you actually have raised a level 100 magikarp that murders everything with tackle and splash
If youre planning to keep riding it, I would say just leave it; it doesnt look dirty enough to be a performance/maintenance issue.
If yourw planning to clean it to sell it, then you could use some small amounts of vinegar on the rusty brakes to shine them up, and soap and water and a brush to get the dirt off. Make sure to fully dry the bike off afterwards with a towel especially the gears and chain and leave outside/well ventilated and dry area to fully airdry to prevent more rust
