When upgrading tires , should I get them done at a bike shop or am I able to do it my self ? I’m looking to get more of a hybrid tire for some light trailing.

It’s an easy job with just a couple tools. Also, you need to know this to repair a flat on the road. Watch a YouTube and see if your bike shop will show you how.
Very easy to do yourself- the only tools needed are tire levers, which cost a few dollars, plus maybe a wrench to remove the wheels.
It’s worth it to buy a good floor pump. My Blackburn is over 15 years old. I think it also has a lifetime guarantee.
