First image is the back brake and the stainless steel part in the middle is broken, so when i squeeze the handles nothing is being compressed. The front break is fine and that stainless steel park is intact.
What’s that piece that is broken and how do I fix it?

That part is just a spring that spreads your brake pads, it usually comes with your brake pads as well if you change them.
(Also, unsolicited advice: Your chain is rusted to shit. The rest of your stuff doesn’t look great. If you keep your stuff clean and lubed, it doesn’t rust nearly as quickly. I’d probably look into a new chain, but it might not make sense if everything else is equally bad)
Edit: I also can’t see the brake rotor, that part is obviously necessary. But the pictures aren’t very good, so I’m not sure if it’s just a weird reflection. I have no clue how anything could even happen to one, but yours might be missing. Or hidden by a weird reflection
It’s a brake rotor and you need to buy and install one.
