A couple of glorious days of sunshine here in Scotland. Grabbed the chance for an overnighter with the hammock.
I tried an underquilt for the first time with the hammock, having previously just stuffed a sleeping pad in there. Absolutely fantastic, so much warmer and more comfortable.
Woke up to a beautiful sunrise in the forest. Leisurely cycle home with a cafe stop and a quick beer from a local food van.
Met a couple of dogs. The great dane is called Dutch, who after a day at the beach leaned his whole weight on me to rest.
The smaller dog was called Lupin, she’d had enough of the heat and was taking a moment to cool off in the water feature of a local museum.
