Personally, I’d be worried about relying on components that cheap for a month long trip. Only one way to find out though I suppose?

It’s fine. Buy some pannier rack and you’re good to go.

From experience I think that the most important features to have are the attaching points for front and back racks, everything else is secondary. Aluminum frames often have fewer attaching points than steel frames. Taken that into consideration, you can go bikepacking/touring with all kinds of bikes.
