pic would help, you can sometimes bend an alloy rim back into place. I’ve had some pretty bad dings that still hold air just fine.
If too bent to hold air tubeless you’ve got a few options:
1 put a tube in and live with it
2 gently bend it back using an adjustable wrench and a rag (just to stop the wrench biting into the rim).
3 replace the rim
With option 2, depending on how bad the ding is, there is a decent chance that rim will crack and then it’s definitely not safe to ride and then you’re back to option 3 – but imo it’s worth a shot compared to living with tubes
Recommend you don’t go cheap but do go for value. Looks like a Race Face AR30 rim. What is your budget?
just replace the rim. Its not 1000$, i don’t see a problem
