start for quite a while almost two decades in fact the route would take the Riders along the old aelia paso del braco the first climb in the early part of the stage then an intermediate Sprint an inter into Masa heading to kamor and into Tuscany Monte Mano with a finish in Luca 20 km from the Finish will be the final obstacle for the sprinters who were hoping to make it three opportunities out of three today Pacha remained in the pink jersey and this time was in all pink a Wednesday afternoon in Janu with a sun shining and plenty of scenery to enjoy for the pettin as an early break went away it’ll take only a couple of kilometers for things to settle down initially Lis Hy one of the Riders attacking he’d be with Bice Matia Bice that is and Yuan cusu they’d soon be joined by Manuel tarzi that as well as Simon Gip and 10 KMS in things began to settle down or at least for a while pellon seeming ly happy with things for the day not everybody happy though one of the riders in the break decided to rejoin a samik and Yan kustu deciding to join poacher and Company back in the bunch 145 the biggest Advantage needle Tre sudal quickstep and ala Cinder kernik going to work and to work on the first climb of the day they would start to bring the advantage back put Fabio Jacobson a few other sprinters in trouble and by the top of the paso del braco be within just 15 seconds or so several other sprinters had struggled including Caleb Yan Tim medier briefly off the back as well and at the front the mountains points going to Simon Gesa nine for him he got there just ahead of Matia Bice so 115 km still to go pelan racing downhill and 4ks later the break would already be brought back alind king after hurting the legs of sprinters and trying to help Kaden Groves would then turn off the gas those dropped would get back and there’d be a brief interlude whil everybody worked out what to do nobody else seemingly wanting to attack even Jacobson got back after having been four minutes behind at one point the intermediate Sprint then came there was a crash on the way into it with Kristoff Laport hitting the deck Milan was at the front for a while but then he’d be overtaken not just by ol AF Koy but also Kaden Groves he would take the 12 points that’d be a licking of War wounds for the European Champion laort but he get back on his bike and soon he’d be back in the peltin after a 20K Chase outside of that intermediate Sprint 77 K to go benjaman Toma attacked he took with him Michael valren Andrea Petro Bon and Enzo palini two Frenchmen an Italian and the Dane the D having lived in the destination city and one of the Frenchmen a resident of Italy 130 was their biggest Gap and with just under 30ks to go just under a minute remained it looked like it was still in the choice of the sprinters another couple of really nasty crashes happened there including this one for tobas fos enok mul brahan involved as well Michael Woods and several other [Applause] Riders final climb of the day and 52 seconds 21 K to go most still working but not everybody not everybody wanting to commit and the political game started behind and whilst they wrangled whilst they chatted not everybody was able to give everything at the front they certainly were and they began to believe a Tailwind quite a bit of downhill there were desperate turns from those who hadn’t yet contributed but it wasn’t going to be enough 5 km remaining 40 seconds the Gap and this was going the way of the Breakaway unless they started to look at each other though if they messed around their opportunities would go up in smoke they went inside the final 3 km pelan then safe for any punctures Crashers problems the GC teams have done their job would the Sprint teams be able to catch them no was the answer hesitation with just over a kilometer 300 M to go and at the front Petro Bon who’d been sitting on for the final few case decided to attack he got a good Gap palen helped close valren launched the Sprint Tomar came up there and kofidis who hadn’t had a win all season in any single race finally had one Tomas silencing the doubters winning a Grand Tour stage for the first time and in pini’s Luca it was operatic from the Breakaway Tomas singing The Final note Milan behind winning the Sprint for fifth place but the sprinters had messed up Delight for kufis and Ben Manar a Frenchman resident in Italy winning on adopted home roads valren who had such the big comeback from an awful injury making sure that he would be second so close for him but he was back at the very top Tom falgren Petro Bon paleni with Milan leading the Sprint Pacha keeping the pink jersey and no changes in the top 10 46 seconds the lead going into the next stage which promises to be one that could deliver plenty of excitement the GC Riders will have to be careful strade ban three sectors of Stato on the way to rapolano ter in [Music] Tusan it’s all live and On Demand on Discovery plus Euros 1. Thanks for the well produced hilights package. But please can you stop giving the game away with the video titles please. Some sense of jeopardy would be appreciated. Thanks

    2. Granted I have only been watching cycling for about a year, I think this is the first successful breakaway I have seen so far (aside from MVDP/ Pogacar solo breakaways)

    3. So glad the sit on merchant didn't win! Sit oon, then try to piss off in the last few K's is a recipe for getting sat on your arse!

    4. Super pour l l'equipe 1 victoire de l année pour une équipe sympa qui est depuis tres longtemps dans le cyclisme cela me r appel Nico Mattan et Franck Vandenbroueck ❤

    5. Serious question. I've been watching cycling for decades, and I've never understood this…..why do the riders in the peleton sprint so hard for the line when the riders in the breakaway have already won the stage and taken all the podium positions? This is true even if there are many riders that cross the line from the breakaway. It almost seems like they do it just for bragging rights. You'd think they'd save their legs for the next day. What am I not getting?

    6. With all the other big guns away injured this Giro is a foregone conclusion barring a crash or illness.
That said with no serious GC competition Pogacar could win the triple crown

    7. lol so rare for a breakaway to work at this high level.

the definition of "NoU take a pull" for the teams that missed out haha.
