    1. Just got back from “Mountain Bike Disneyland” a.k.a. Bentonville, Arkansas. Before my trip I did a lot of research on Reddit, so I wanted to pay it forward.

I’m a fairly experienced rider, and yet I was able to bring along my 60-year-old dad who is a novice at pedaling in the woods. Thanks to the interlacing trail system, we were able to meet up easily at intersections and feel like we were doing it together. It’s clear that thought went into mapping out the trails, such that you’re never far away from a coffee stand, an art installation, or a concrete path to zip you out when you’ve had enough for the day.

Above all, the people were incredibly kind. Passionate about biking and the community. Everyone seemed excited to make sure you love their town as much as they do.

      Other details:

      * Food was great, surprisingly gluten-free, vegan and health-conscious choices at the local restaurants, all of which are centrally located in town. We liked Wright’s BBQ, Onyx Coffee, Sunny’s smoothies and salads, Trash Ice Cream.
      * Art scene was cool and beautiful, we enjoyed looking at sculptures near Crystal Bridges, especially the canoe and deer sculpture
      * Even the green runs like “All American” had features on the side. Fire Line was my favorite trail; it felt like a roller coaster.
      * Watching people “drop the hammer” was wild! (Double black with this insane drop.)
      * Easy to get around: we didn’t even rent a car and got an Uber from the airport!

Let me know if any questions!
