Recently installed a new hg700 cassete on my r7000 setup, Im sizing a new KMC chain, and found myself in a situation where in small/small the chain is too saggy but it changes beautifully to Big-Big, or with one less link is not as saggy on small small but im unable to shift to big-big as it gets hyper tensioned and locks itself in place, I know cross chaining is a no go but I find myself mostly on the big chainring all the time and aee myself more prone to do a big-big change than ever do a small-small shift…. Im ok leaving the chain that saggy on s/s?
