Specialized Crux Comp (basically stripped the frame because I just wanted this color)
* GRX 11sp groupset – almost have the 12sp group ready. Didn’t want to wait for GRX so going with a road group for now
* Craft Racing Works CS4045 wheels with Vittoria Corsa Pro – Gravel wheelset is Hunt 30 Carbon with Pathfinder Pro 37s
* Magene P505 power meter crank with Dura-Ace 50/34t chainrings – thinking of going up to 52/35t
I had tried in the past to use the Crux on the road but it was never very fun to ride. But it was always setup up for gravel and then I threw on road wheels. This time, I replicated my road setup: narrow bars, longer stem, lower stack, bigger chainrings. With this setup, it’s awesome. Still slightly more relaxed than my true road bike, but also a little more comfortable. Could see this as the long fun ride or days I don’t care about absolute speed. Then swap out the gravel wheels with a bigger cassette and I’m good to go.
Here’s with gravel wheels. I’m going with the 105 RD to get 36t capacity and could probably stretch to 40t if needed. https://i.imgur.com/8m8BNQE.jpg
