[Music] stage four of the Jed Italia would take the Riders away from Ponte into ligoria and to the coastline thankfully it was a little more Sunny where the Riders were headed it was a rainy cloudy start in aquer the last time a Jill Italia stage had started there was 1955 it had been a while the first ever finish in Andor on the coast and to get there they go through khano for a Sprint over the K Del meono into an intermediate Sprint and an interiro and once on the coast at Savona would follow the Milano Sano route over alasio lelia the Capo and then finishing just after the first of the three Capi that we normally see in the classic Chima flashes of spring as we move towards Summer not quite getting to Sano bran Velton would be a non-starter 172 Riders left in the Jalia and the first attacker would be Fran Munoz a 22-year-old on Grand Tour debut for Paula he’d soon be followed by lilon kosan and Stefan deod looked as though three Riders were away and then there would be a fourth a headline name yes filipo Ghana sent up the road but with his presence they were never going to be allowed too much time were they sudow quickstep set about going to work 1 minute 20 was the biggest Advantage they got that after Peter SI had tried to keep them in check that ail gacha was in conversation and then the conversation at the front Ghana saying his goodbyes back to the pelan a little laugh and a joke with Saidi he’d won the first battle of the day and three Riders were then allowed to get a much bigger Gap they’d be on their way to taking a maximum gap of over 5 minutes by the time they got to the first Sprint it would be Kaden Gro who get the majority of the points behind and then on to the K meono this is where visma Lisa bike a woke from their Slumber starting to drop quite a few of the sprinters including Fabio yakobson UAE wanted to keep tare poacha at the front for The Descent that was about to happen and that’d be a furious Chase on The Descent as the raindrops started to fall still plenty of victims behind ol AV Koy was obviously feeling good good an intergo halfway down the Descent so this happen maximum points and the bonus seconds going to franos but then a moment that would Mark the day a crash involving bam GMI Beno Conor and many others but it was GMI who was worst off he then get back on his bike amazingly but just a couple of kilometers later on a spare bike with tires full of pressure he crash on his other side I’m afraid this time binam gai former stage winner would have to abandon the Jalia up ahead on the coast and with one Sprinter down couple of splits on The Descent Riders having to work hard to get back on leadle Trek continue to ride as did Vima Lisa by can sudal quickstep there would be contact at the back only coming just inside the final 50 km breakway by this time was down to two Muno was still there and he was accompanied by dbot the South African from EF education easy post they still had 2 minutes with 40ks to go but there was so much Firepower behind and a big will to have another Bunch Sprint one by one the towns past familiar to those used to watching in the spring was laass going to produce a classic inside the final 15 km it became clear that the break was going to be caught 24 seconds with 10ks to go GC teams fighting it with Sprint teams and just at the bottom of the C melee to bot the last survivor and they’d be caught then an attack Gana going again on the up pill up the C Mele if he’d get to the top with a decent Gap with a downhill only stopping in the final 800 m the stage could be his they get excited behind as well pasal Lon trying to chase also there too was feli over the top he went 7 seconds but that turned to five Big Chain Rings big Power behind and a massive Chase Gana going into the final kilometer still ahead but it was at around 4 to 500 M from the line he’d be caught konni his track teammate for Italy doing the catching and it’ be another man in the big team Pursuit for the Italians to hit the front in the Sprint Jonathan Milan chick lamino winner the year before second the day before and a year to the day since his first jid Italia stage win taking Victory just about ahead of groves and the rest magnificent from Milan a furious Sprint massive power numbers it was Milan Groves Bar housee honorable mention though to meder who came from a long way back to finish fif balerini gavidia zanello mikels and lonardi in the top 10 and a good placing for olav Koy who remember is still on Grand Tour debut Thea Roosa remaining on the back of Tad pachar the only change in the general classification at the top being a move up for Keon ER Brooks he took one bonus second throughout the day and moved from fifth to Fourth he’s at 55 seconds the next stage could again be one for the sprinters but once more it is not guaranteed starting in Genoa the city of the Lantern and heading over to Luca the wall City in Tuscany again the Sprints what more into jido and a final climb 20 km from the line perhaps posing another problem to the sprinters 178 k for stage five [Music] [Music]

    1. Hey. JM absolutely deserved the stage. His sprint was monster nasty. Competing at the highest level of any sport, you had better have monster nasty on your side. Because if you do not, chances are against you.
So once you have the win then you become nice and pretty. Until the next race. Monster Nasty.
To me it seems like this years Giro has taken ages to come round. Love the Giro D Italia🤚🏽

    2. Really liking the Eurosport coverage! Geat Highlight videos + full last KM recaps. Kudos! Keep up the good work!

    3. i know Pogacar is Pink jersey, but why is the video thumbnail still Pogacar?😅 …give some credit to the winner at least. Pogacar aleady making this race boring, don’t back it up further😂

    4. when i see pogacar on the video highlight thumbnail, part of me feels i dont want to watch the highlights, his constant winning is making this sport boring imho😅

    5. Stages have delivered drama so far! Milan looks like he has more power than the bike can handle in that last 100m, what a monster.

    6. เห็นถนนต่างประเทศละ อิจฉา เจอถนนไทยแต่ละที่ เวทนาจริงๆ

    7. UCI needs a better director. They have to work on safety, such as ignorant crowds.
Yet, they choose to have a tantrum on cyclist shorts.

    8. Rob Hatch is great, but does he really need to use the conditional tense again and again? I know that it's a convention for some reason, but to hear "would…would…would" gets tedious. Just use past tense; there's nothing conditional about a bike race that's already happened.

    9. Gee i miss my GCN . In Aus we have to listen our boys . Thats why i am watching highlights to get great commentry the racing ifs ok but with Pogatcher winning i'm over that part of the race.
